These terms are an agreement between you and Magnolia Labs Limited, a company in Hong Kong ("we", "us"), which runs DreamDump™. By using DreamDump (the "App") you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the App. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
DreamDump lets you journal your dreams, get AI-written readings, explore recurring symbols and themes, receive weekly dream cards and summaries, and chat with Drift, an AI dream companion.
Important: DreamDump is for reflection and entertainment. It is not medical, psychological or other professional advice, it does not diagnose anything, and it is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.
You must be at least 18. By using the App you confirm that you are. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and data.
You can sign in with Apple or Google. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it. Don't use someone else's identity or account.
Free: dream journaling and search, the dream archetype quiz, 3 AI dream readings in total, and a few messages with Drift each day (the app shows how many are left).
Premium (subscription):
Daily limits reset each day. They exist so the service stays available for everyone. If we lower a Premium limit, we will tell you in the App beforehand, and the change will not apply to a billing period you have already paid for.
Reading packs: a one-time purchase that adds 5 AI readings to your account. Unused readings stay in your account until you use them or delete your account. They have no cash value.
All purchases go through Apple's App Store. We never see or store your card details. The price, in your currency, is shown before you buy.
Premium is available weekly or yearly. It renews automatically at the end of each period and is charged to your Apple ID unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
If a free trial is offered to you, it turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then. The trial length is shown before you start it.
We may change prices. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and Apple will notify you, and ask for your agreement where required, before a higher price applies.
Cancel in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the App or your DreamDump account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policy. This does not affect any refund rights you have under the law where you live.
Readings, symbol and theme readings, weekly summaries, dream cards, archetype results and Drift's replies are written by AI (Google's Gemini). They:
Don't rely on them for decisions about your health, safety, relationships or money.
About Drift. Drift is an AI character. It is warm by design, but it has no feelings and is not a person or a relationship. To make replies personal, Drift remembers some context from your earlier dreams and chats, as described in section 1.4 of the Privacy Policy. If you find yourself relying on Drift as your main source of support, please also reach out to someone you trust or a professional.
DreamDump checks what you write, automatically, for signs that you may be in danger, and shows crisis resources if it finds them. These checks can miss things, especially metaphor or indirect wording. No person monitors your entries in real time, and we cannot contact emergency services for you. DreamDump is not a crisis service; if you are in crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis line right away.
You own what you write in DreamDump. We claim no ownership of it.
You give us permission to store and process your content only to run DreamDump for you: on your phone, on our servers when you're signed in (so you can restore it on a new phone), and through our AI providers to write readings and replies, as the Privacy Policy describes. We do not use your content to train AI models. This permission ends when you delete your content or your account, except where the law requires us to keep something.
We may limit or suspend access for anyone who breaks these rules.
The App, including its design, code, branding and the Drift™ character, belongs to Magnolia Labs Limited. DreamDump™ and Drift™ are our trademarks. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the App without our written permission.
To the extent the law allows:
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights your local law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes them away.
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our losses from claims caused by content you submit or by your breaking these terms or the law.
Delete your account at any time in Me → Privacy & Security → Delete all my data. This permanently deletes your account and your data on our servers and on your phone, as the Privacy Policy explains. It cannot be undone.
If you're signed in, your journal is backed up to our servers, and you can also save a backup file yourself (Me → Privacy & Security → Back up my journal). We work to keep your data safe but cannot guarantee it will never be lost, so keep your own backup of anything important.
You can stop using DreamDump at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms other people or our service. If we close the App entirely, we will give you reasonable notice so you can save your journal.
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the App and ask you to agree before the change applies to you. If you don't agree, you can stop using DreamDump and delete your account.
Before starting a formal claim, please email magnolia.labs.ai@gmail.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.
If that fails, and to the extent the law allows, disputes will be decided by binding arbitration under the rules of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, in English, seated in Hong Kong. Disputes are handled individually, not as class or representative actions.
Section 15.2 does not apply to you if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, or anywhere else where the law does not let consumers agree in advance to arbitration or to give up class or representative actions.
If the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, or to a dispute process this section would otherwise exclude, you keep that right. Either side may ask a court for urgent relief.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Mandatory consumer protection laws of the place where you live still apply to you.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages at the services we depend on (such as Google's AI). Those services may change or stop, and we may have to change or remove features as a result.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is not responsible for handling claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you as third-party beneficiaries.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about DreamDump.
